Abstract
This presentation outlines best practices for building a website with a Dockerized Django backend and React/Vite frontend. I will explore the project’s current state, key challenges and solutions, and the essential role of user feedback in shaping an intuitive interface. These key points are presented through the lens of my learning journey in creating Knit To Knit and the several iterations it took to better support user experience, security, and performance.
