Summary
We were lucky enough to spend the semester partnered with the ladies at the Next Door Recovery where we helped to update, organize, and manage their closet system. As a recovery space, their time is often spent directly helping the individuals coming in. Therefore, necessities like the closet become easily overlooked, especially when understaffed. Over the last few months, we were able to lend a hand in creating new systems for the staff, organize and sort through the many donations they receive, host a clothing and feminine product drive, and set up new systems for their closet volunteers moving forward.
