Abstract
Independent study curriculums targeting independent living skills for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities attending the Igniting the Dream of Education and Access at Lipscomb (IDEAL) program. The curriculum was created using the constructivism model and social cognitive theory for an active approach to learning that promotes self-efficacy in independent living skills to facilitate student success within the program and upon their transition into the community.
