Description

Organizations are creating swift starting action teams (STATs) as a competitive advantage and in some cases as a means of survival in today’s rapidly changing business environment. Group members must develop trust quickly in order to reduce the uncertainty that arises when strangers cooperate and interact with other team participants in high-risk and stressful organizational projects. Swift starting action teams range from flight crews, military combat units, to even hockey teams. The focus of my presentation is to analyze how swift trust develops and how leaders communication that trust through interpersonal communication channels for the survival and success of the group.
