Abstract
This project explores the implementation of data-driven recruiting strategies in college soccer. Leveraging data from Wyscout, a comprehensive player data platform, statistical analysis was performed to rank potential players in the transfer portal. Through statistical analysis and visual reporting, the project aims to enhance the team's talent acquisition strategies, providing coaches with valuable insights to identify promising players efficiently. The findings from this project contribute to the broader discourse on the practical applications of data science in collegiate athletics and highlight the potential for leveraging data-driven approaches to optimize talent recruitment in sports programs.
