Description
For the fluxus excursion, my superpower was a shapeshifting cryptid. The word cryptid comes from the word cryptozoology or the study of creatures that the scientific community has not recognized yet. I took a walk in downtown Dickson with zero expectations of myself. I decided to stop at a book store that I had not been in. I usually don’t go into book stores. This would change up my natural habits of art-making. The first book I found mentioned depression as a shapeshifter and was full of many enlightening short poems about depression. I took witness sketches from around the United States of cryptid sightings to make a set of tarot cards as archetypes of the tarot of this depression.
