Abstract
This session will deepen your understanding of autism and help to make connections between unique characteristics of students on the autism spectrum and underlying neural influences. There will be time for guided discussion on how to apply simple practices into the classroom that will benefit students, including those who identify as autistic. Nicole Richard Williams (Music Therapy) will present and facilitate our workshop experience.
