Summary
RVX is a student organization at Belmont University dedicated to students with the passion for dance and love for K-pop. With recent success of a dance cover for the “K-pop Demon Hunters” song “Golden,” the team has grown in following on social media. However, on campus awareness has not had the same trajectory. Spotlight PR, composed of four students in the spring 2026 Public Relations Campaigns class at Belmont University, partnered with RVX to increase general student and faculty awareness on campus. RVX began in 2017 with seven members and has grown to 26. Most notably, the student organization has reached over 96.82 million views and 94.4 thousand subscribers on their YouTube channel. The Spotlight PR team surveyed students on campus to understand where and how RVX could grow on campus. The research revealed that connections with Belmont University communities are based on social media and WELL Core event engagements. Based on this data, Spotlight PR created a plan to partner with the Belmont Today Instagram page in order to showcase the process of filming and creating an RVX dance cover for their personal social media. Success of this aspect of the campaign was measured through views and engagement rates. Additionally, Spotlight PR hosted several classroom visits and two WELL Core events including physical and financial credits. Success of the campus events was measured by the number of attendees.
