Summary

For People of Orrendago, I sought to illustrate a collection of characters who would live in my fictional city of Orrendago. This is based around a map I drew of the city, Map of Orrendago, which is based on a long-time personal worldbuilding of mine. People of the City includes the Map of Orrendago, plus ten other individual drawings, depicting one or more fictional denizens of the city. Their designs were painstakingly planned out to represent my vision of the city, which is informed by a number of historical and cultural references which I worked to combine in order to design clothing and equipment that feel authentic while still being unique and slightly fantastical. Some drawings are done digitally, and some are pencil, pen, and marker on paper.
