Summary
Binarity explores the dynamics between one's outward expression and inner identity, questioning the roles of traditional gendered characteristics and expressions through self portraiture and digital manipulation. Blurring the lines between the real and surreal, the work invites the viewer to evaluate the role gender plays in their perception of the world around them.
