Summary
The Branch recognized that their older adult population was not well served with the fragmented information on community resources. The group identified and consolidated resources in five categories for The Branch staff, interns, and their clients. Using the categories of Transportation, Rent/Housing, Food, Community Engagement, and Health Care, an online and hard copy manual was delivered. The goal was to provide an accurate and modifiable online and hard copy manual to streamline information on community resources to the staff, interns, and clients. Staff and intern satisfaction with the manual is the desired outcome. As new resources become available, the electronic manual can be updated, and future surveys could measure usefulness, effectiveness, and satisfaction.
