This project, part of the class study “Dart Clusters,” explores the creation of six waistline darts using a basic front bodice block and the slashing technique. The resulting design is a Victorian-style dress featuring leg-of-mutton sleeves, a full gathered skirt, and an oversized bow sash, combining structured dart detailing with period-inspired volume and ornamentation.
