Summary
The intent of this design is to address the intersection of dorm-life and mental health among college athletes by creating supportive, restorative living and community environments that promote physical recovery, emotional well-being, and community. Through emphasis on principles of biophilic design, color theory, and inclusive design, the spaces will integrate natural elements, intentional color palettes, and accessible features to foster healing and inclusivity. This holistic approach aims to enhance the overall well-being and performance of college athletes while supporting their unique challenges and identities.
