Summary
This project explores asymmetry through intersecting dart manipulation, transforming a basic bodice block using the Slashing technique to create dynamic darts emerging from the waist. The design is defined by an open back and exposed shoulders, while the skirt introduces a diagonal seam with an overlapping panel, adding depth and a subtle three-dimensional quality that enhances movement and visual interest.
