Summary
This work explores the tension between aspiration and the fear of falling behind. Rather than illustrating a single narrative, the piece focuses on an emotional landscape shaped by urgency, ambition, and the perpetual pressure to progress. I was interested in how the body reflects the psychological weight of wanting something deeply and how determination can feel energizing in one moment and destabilizing in the next. The choreography aims to capture this fluctuation: the constant pull toward a goal, the anxiety of limited time, and the relentless drive that keeps the body in motion even when the path is unclear.
