Summary
Our presentation centers on the idea of how might we educate parents on the impact of internet usage on their children from the perspective of the first generation to grow up surrounded by its influence? We are working with Wired Human, an organization focused on educating parents and policy makers about the impacts of social media on children.
We have compiled videos of college students discussing what their use of social media and the internet looked like as kids, how it has impacted their mental health, and what they wish their parents would have done different regarding internet usage.
