Summary

How does a gerrymandered district effect the popularity of a populist candidate. I investigate the causes of populism, which are broken down into economic causes, immigration, and social issues. I will look at the Recok Score in comparison to Trumps Vote share in the 2024 election, with other controls, like competitiveness and population. There is a slight relationship seen in the 328 districts in my data set, between the Standardized Vote share for Donald Trump and the Reock score in the district. The next value that I found was the P-Value, which was found to be .003.
