This photo captured one of the most memorable moments from my travels abroad. On our free day, a group of us traveled to Venice this photo captured one of the most memorable moments from my travels abroad. On our free day, a group of us traveled to Venice - the city on water. There we rode in a gondola, where this picture was captured riding down one of the absolutely picturesque canals. In this I was taking in all of the beauty around me not knowing the immense history that likely would pour over if the buildings could speak. Now back home, whenever I see this photo it brings me reflection on the simple joy that stepping out into the unknown brings. How that experience brings an awakening with it. Of all we have ever known and all that we ever will. My eyes have seen the sun set and rise on the other side of the world and for that my view is forever widened and changed for the better.
