Description
I took this photo on an excursion to see the ruins of the Oracle of Delphi, but despite the beautiful architecture left over that we got to see, I found myself captivated by the serenity of the landscape. The colors were both cool and calm while also showing warm spots in the flowers and red rock around us, and I thought it was a magical balance. It helped me imagine the environment of seclusion and mystery the people seeking guidance from the oracle must have felt on their pilgrimage to the top, and I felt more connected to this site for that reason than all the other iconic ruins we saw while in Greece.
