Croissants are no doubt one of the most popular bakery items, but we often take them for granted. Having taken a croissant-making class in Paris, we learned the history behind the croissant as well as the in depth chemistry and care that goes into making a single croissant. This photograph not only captures the detail of the croissant, but the care taken to produce it.
