Description
What better way to launch this year’s Pre-Symposium Film Festival, “Making It Home,” than with this Academy Award winning story of a man (played by Casey Affleck) haunted by a past that has kept him from going home for many years until he suddenly finds himself drawn by circumstance to confront his ghosts and memories and resume roles he thought he had left behind. Viewing of the film will be followed by moderated discussion of such issue as the relationship between memory and home and the tug of war between past and present in our relationships with home and family.
