Abstract
Dr. Standley Bernard (1924-2014) graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 1941. He was a practicing surgeon in Nashville for over forty years. Dr. Standley was one of the original investors for Parkview Medical. He was also involved with the development of the Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel.
