Abstract
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) was an impactful disease that caused a significant rise in mortality rates in relation to its infection of the general public. Besides looking at the mortality rates of the disease across the country, many outside influences including healthcare ratings, population density, income levels, and poverty also played roles into the mortality rates of the diseases.
Using various statistical modeling techniques, including linear regression, multiple linear regression, and principal component analysis, we will be taking a deep-dive into these outside influences and their effects on mortality rates from COVID-19. The results of these techniques might surprise you.
