Abstract
This study examines the economic and labor market impacts of the current southern border crisis between the United States and Mexico. Situated within the broader context of U.S. immigration policies and challenges, the research utilizes a quantitative data analysis approach to explore the dynamics affecting the current and future economy. The primary focus is on the effects on the U.S. labor market, with specific attention to changes in labor supply, wage patterns, and the overall contribution of immigrants to the economy. The anticipated results aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the crisis' impact on the labor market. Additionally, the study will offer insights into how government policy implementation might be adapted to address the challenges posed by the border crisis, thereby informing future policy decisions in a way that balances economic needs with humanitarian and security concerns.
