Description

This postcard shows the new Blanton Hall, built in 1914. The building was dedicated to Dr. John Diell Blanton, president of Ward's Seminary from 1892-1913, and the first president of Ward-Belmont, 1913-1933. He died of pneumonia ini 1933. Blanton Academic Building burned in 1972.
