Description

This picture was taken from Yaquina Head Bay on the pebble beach. This was my first proper experience on a Pacific Coast beach. The tide pools formed by the rocks were full of life and color even though this picture looks dark and moody. Growing up on the East Coast, looking out onto the Pacific for the first time was a special experience. The rainy, overcast weather in the photo is an accurate depiction of life in the Pacific Northwest.
