Summary
This presentation aims to combine an oral presentation of research and findings with more experiential elements that demonstrate the actual content of the work. As part of the Honors Scholars Collaborative with Dr. Amy Hodges-Hamilton, it will briefly give an overview of the research done into the healing arts (music, writing, visual arts, and movement) that was previously presented in a literature review, as well as the on-campus events hosted and hopes of future implementation. The research will highlight the efficacy of arts therapy and therapeutic arts practices, as well as the minor studied effects from events held throughout the semester. Following the presentations, audience members are invited to participate in abbreviated versions of the healing arts events presented. By combining research with concrete practices, this presentation will give a full demonstration of the need for future implementation on Belmont's campus.

Comments
On food preference, we will have multiple attendees that are presenting, at the time of filling this out I (Celia Mayfield) do not know exactly if all presenters are attending lunch but I am going to assume so. I (Celia Mayfield) have already submitted one form with lunch preference, so our presenters outside of this are Grace Eschbach, Kenda Alkayyali, Elizabeth Newman, Eli Moore, and Jordan Ludwig. There are no dietary restrictions that I know of outside of one presenter who cannot have any pig product like ham (halal). Please reach out if you need more info and I can probably get a clearer answer for you on this if necessary.
