This photo was taken from the top of a ferris wheel at Mai Dult, which is a local folks fest that happens each year in Regensburg in May. This shows the rides and carnival events happeneing, with the cathedral standing tall in the background. For me, this photo represents a part of the Bavarian culture that is very important. Festivals and smaller street Fests are a large Part of life there. People can come together in a common area to enjoy food, rides, and drinks.
