Many Florentines throughout history have stepped through the doors of the Basilica of Santa Croce to selflessly offer themselves to God and receive religious guidance that they could, in turn, apply to their daily lives. This is what the ancient Florentines would have seen when walking through these doors that lead to their new life with God.
