OTD Capstone Projects
Abstract
This project focused on the development and implementation of a revitalized horse movement evaluation program at Saddle Up!, a non-profit organization providing equine-assisted therapy for children with disabilities. The initiative aimed to enhance the evaluation and documentation process for therapy horses by creating a structured digital file system, improving horse movement evaluation forms, and developing a staff training program. These improvements supported the organization's mission to provide high-quality equine-assisted activities by ensuring standardized, accessible, and effective assessment of therapy horses.
