Description
On February 26, 2012, 17 year-old Trayvon Martin was walking to his father’s home when he was killed by George Zimmerman, a volunteer with a “neighborhood watch” group. Charged with second degree murder and manslaughter, Zimmerman’s acquittal sparked immediate protests around the country and fueled discussions on race and crime. What, if anything, have we learned and what changes have been made in the law?
