Description
In this workshop conducted by Dr. Viktorija Bilić, students will be introduced to the world of subtitling foreign language film and discuss the “golden rules” and challenges of subtitling. Students will work on creating English subtitles for short foreign language film scenes (German, French, Italian and Spanish) or/and for scenes in English to any Foreign Language, e.g. Chinese and Japanese, using the free subtitling software Aegisub.

Please, bring your own laptop with the software Aegisub already downloaded as well as earphones to the workshop. The software is available for both MAC and PC here/Downloads: https://aeg-dev.github.io/AegiSite/
