Dr. Andy Davis, Department of Philosophy, Belmont University In this paper Dr. Davis looks at the end of the Phenomenology of Spirit where Hegel claims that time must be “cancelled.” Dr. Davis will investigate why time consciousness must be left behind and what it says about the role of time in our lives.
