Description
When news breaks—or when it is rumored that it will—the tweets go ‘round the world. Social media, blogs and online editions of newspapers and TV stations are vehicles for immediate and constantly changing streams of information. But journalists know that information does not equal fact, and even facts can be presented to outwit the truth. Staff members of the Belmont Vision will be part of a discussion that addresses the ethical use of today’s vast media platform to report the news responsibly and boldly to an audience that is inescapably global.
