Description
One of the most important guiding principles for any successful classroom community is the establishment of a naturally discursive environment that integrates the personal and social and depends on the community’s ability to be supportive, critical, and united. Please join us as four students from “Writing in the Community,” a service-learning course where students are connected with members of various community outreach programs, share their experiences as both writers and researchers, as well as explore the power of creating and inventing community through storytelling.
