Description
Award-winning author and illustrator Robert J. Blake travels on location to research, sketch, and paint his picture books. Destinations have included the lditarod Race in Alaska, the Havasupai Native American Reservation in the Grand Canyon, and Marrawah, Tasmania. Creator of twenty-four picture books, Blake will offer a presentation about his children's books, including slides of his illustrations; he will talk specifically about his process of working on location in remote areas of the world.
