Dr. Bonnie Smith and University Media Writer April Hefner (M.A. ’07) will lead a discussion of two episodes of The West Wing that focus on preparing for a Presidential debate. We’ll view “Debate Camp” and “Game On” (originally aired in October of 2002) and discuss the importance of language in political discourse, especially “the ten word answer” and the problematic prevalence of bumper sticker politics.
